The landscaping for this contemporary residence works hand-in-hand with the architecture to meet the client's design goals. It plays with the clean lines of the architecture, at times softening them and at others reinforcing them.  From the road, only a large stone wall can be seen with agaves and cactus planted in front to respond to the hard exterior.  Upon entering the house, the space opens up and glass walls surround a contemporary twist on the classic courtyard.  The planting is soft, floral and lush, and there is a play space for the kids and a BBQ and deck area reminiscent of a beach home.
